As part of our international activities, we organize roadshows on the application of smart data in different sectors like health, industry 4.0 and energy. The aim of the roadshows is to facilitate knowledge exchange among smart data stakeholders from the fields of economy, politics and science in Germany with their counterparts internationally. The roadshows are also a great possibility to introduce and connect the leading research projects and innovation technologies nationally and internationally.
Our latest roadshow went to Qatar to explore potentials for collaboration in digital health.
German-Swedish Exchange on Artificial Intelligence – June 2019
At the end of June 2019, the Smart Data Forum organized a trip to Stockholm, Sweden. Under the motto „Scaling AI in Europe“, the delegation got to know the Swedish AI-ecosystem and discussed with Swedish experts especially about the development of a data analytics infrastructure.
Second Roadshow to Qatar – Fall 2018
During our latest roadshow, we visited the emirate of Qatar for a second time. The goal of this trip was to identify potential for collaborations in the health sector. Our delegation visited the World Innovation Summit on Health 2018 and met experts of Hamad Medical Corporation as well as of Qatar Genome Program and Qatar Biobank.
Roadshow in the Middle East – Spring 2018
Our first roadshow to the Middle East region was on the theme of energy, mobility and smart cities. Our journey to Qatar included visits to several major research institutes and even led to a MoU between Berlin Big Data Center and Qatar Computing Research Institute.
Asia Roadshow – Spring 2017
The second international roadshow brought the delegation to Singapore, Beijing and Tokyo in just five days. The days were packed with meetings, visits and workshops. The Asia roadshow focused on industry 4.0, smart manufacturing and IT security.
US Roadshow Digital Health – October 2016
Our first international roadshow brought us to the East Coast. In New York and Boston we visited the two most vibrant digital health hubs in the US. Our delegation consisted of representatives of health projects, research, industries and startups from all over Germany.
