Tage der Digitalen Technologien 2019 shows the innovative power of the German economy

More than 700 guests followed an invitation of Germany’s Federal Ministry of Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWI) to attend the first „Tage der digitalen Technologien“ event, which took place on May 14-15 at Bolle-Festsäle in Berlin. In keynotes and expert forums, recent challenges of the digitalization process in in the application fields of industry, robotics, logistics, mobility, health and energy were discussed. Additionally both days offered much room for networking and informal talks.

Multiple projects from the technology programs “Smart Service Welten” and “PAiCE” presented first project results. “Smart Service Welt” and “Smart Service Welt II” provided many speakers as well as content for the stage program and accompanying exhibition. BMWi aims to address future topics of information technology early with funding programs and innovation competitions and wants to accelerate the transfer from science to marketable products, solutions and business models.

Forum Digital Technologies was presented as the follow-up project of Smart Data Forum. It will foster constructive discourse and exchange between stakeholders from businesses, politics and science and inform the public and international guests about recent trends and developments in Germany. Forum Digital Technologies will celebrate it’s opening on September 19 in Berlin.
