On the 24 and 25 of June 2019, the Smart Data Forum project of the Federal Ministry of Economic Affairs and Energy organized a delegation trip to Stockholm under the theme Scaling AI in Europe – Architectures and Governance of Future AI Platforms. Main purpose of the trip was to find possibilities for cooperation, discuss the development of a data analytics infrastructure as well as to get to know the Swedish AI ecosystem.
One day prior to the main event, conference guests could attend a pre-event at Smart Data Forum. Visitors from Russia, Hong Kong, London and different parts of Germany could test demonstrators and developed an idea of the multitude of concrete possibilities to make use of intelligent data analysis.
The event brought together experts from Canada and Germany to discuss various aspects of the deployment of AI in the healthcare sector.
This year’s German Canadian Concourse on Building Synapses of Transatlantic Artificial Intelligence Cooperation started with a field trip to the Smart Data Forum on February 21st 2019 and continued at Embassy of Canada. The session provided an opportunity for the Canadian and German audience to learn about both countries’ efforts in digital technologies and AI.
Smart Data Forum with the support of the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWi) organized a roadshow to the emirate of Qatar from 11-14 November. The goal of this trip was to identify potentials for cooperation in the Digital Health sector.
On November 5th, the French Embassy in Germany and Smart Data Forum jointly organized the event “AI in Health: French-German Perspectives” at the Forum’s Showroom in Berlin. High level experts from business, research and politics from Germany as well as France discussed the use of artificial intelligence (AI) in the healthcare sector.
